As enterprises embrace hybrid work and distributed teams, the Senior Windows Endpoint Engineer plays a pivotal role in securing, stabilizing, and optimizing Windows-based endpoints across the organization. This role combines strategic foresight with deep technical expertise to ensure every device is compliant, high-performing, and resilient—empowering the workforce while safeguarding the infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Plans and implements new technologies and major releases for critical enterprise-wide IT platform projects. Designs and deploys platforms aligned with business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement and resolving performance issues.
Provides expert-level technical support and ensures reliable operation of production systems. Diagnoses and resolves the most complex hardware and software issues across multiple platforms.
Develops technical standards, evaluates vendor products, and recommends new technologies and vendor selections.
Elevates code through development, test, and production environments. Provides production support and manages change control documentation.
Understands client business functions and requirements, selecting the right technical tools to meet their needs.
Trains and mentors junior staff, resolves escalated issues, and maintains comprehensive technical documentation.
Administers system activities and contributes to deliverables through systems analysis, including requirements gathering and design.
Participates in strategic initiatives and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in Windows engineering or endpoint management roles.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows 11, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
Familiarity with identity and security tools.
