- Cloud Infrastructure Design: Design and implement a scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Site Reliability: Ensure the reliability and availability of cloud services through effective monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
- Performance Design: Optimize cloud infrastructure performance to meet business requirements and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Cost Optimization: Implement cost-effective solutions and strategies to optimize cloud infrastructure expenses.
- Operational Excellence: Promote and implement best practices for operational excellence, including automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and network engineers, to review and propose design solutions that align with business needs and best practices.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud infrastructure designs, configurations, and best practices.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure, with at least 3 years of experience specifically in AWS.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation. Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and site reliability engineering (SRE) principles.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or equivalent certification is required.
- Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform).
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
