Role Purpose

As a Plant Supply Chain Manager, you will lead the raw material planning team at the site, ensuring the timely availability of materials to support production schedules and meet customer demand while balancing inventory levels and supply constraints. You will play a key role in the monthly SIOP process, including demand and supply alignment, data analysis, and preparation, as well as overseeing material requirements planning (MRP) and supplier coordination
 

Key Responsibilities

    • Material Planning & Scheduling: Develop and manage daily and weekly material supply plans, ensuring raw material availability to support production while optimizing inventory levels and resource allocation.
    • Raw Material Operations: Oversee and support operational activities related to material flow, including receiving, storage, and line supply, ensuring continuity and accuracy in supply processes.
    • Continuous Improvement: Analyze material planning and flow processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements that enhance availability, reduce waste, and optimize inventory.
    • Performance Management: Monitor team performance in material planning and supply execution, ensuring timely delivery, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with suppliers, production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure alignment in material availability and demand fulfillment.
    • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with HSE standards in all material handling, storage, and logistics activities.
    • Leadership & Direction: Lead and guide the material planning team, aligning daily operations with plant objectives and supply chain strategy.
    • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect and analyze material-related data (inventory, shortages, supplier performance) to support decision-making and improve planning accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in production planning or supply chain management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Expertise in ERP systems, production planning, and resource optimization.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
