What you’ll be doing;
Supervise daily operations of the Road Sweeping Plant to produce high-quality recycled products through effective decision-making and task delegation
Ensure shift personnel perform duties efficiently and safely in compliance with company RAMS, safe systems of work, and local operating procedures
Oversee coordination of machinery and equipment cleaning programmes and conduct essential machinery and plant checks
Manage waste and product flows and associated traffic management systems
Liaise with all operational departments to organize safe collection inputs and coordinate acceptance and processing of loads
Coordinate the collection and delivery of end products from the Road Sweeping Plant
Identify and requisition parts needed for plant maintenance and operations
Prepare and submit monthly tonnage reports
What we're looking for;
Previous supervisory experience in a similar operational environment with ability to work collaboratively with other teams to maximize throughput and output
Self-motivated with strong relationship-building skills and ability to perform effectively in highly pressurized environments
IOSH Managing Safely certification or equivalent qualification required
Comprehensive knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation and safe working systems
Excellent communication and organizational skills with proven ability to coach and motivate team members
IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft packages and SCADA systems
Experience in washing/aggregate recovery operations and mobile plant operation
Loading Shovel and Tele-handler licenses desirable but not essential
Full UK driving licence essential
