Reimagine What’s Possible
PURPOSE
To support SEA plant operations (Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand) in driving plant productivity, executing process related design calculation, process simulation, troubleshooting, plant on-site support and other activities as required.
NATURE AND SCOPE
Responsible to support SEA plant operations (Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand) to ensure plant process safety operation, productivity achievement and cost effectiveness in unit operations.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Drive plant process optimization and generate new continuous improvement idea to achieve plant productivity target.
Support operation in plant restart, process troubleshooting and root cause analysis for plant issue.
Review and approve process isolation plan for a major work/modification.
Review and approve plant operation EMOC from process perspective.
Support relevant process expertise like P&ID markup, process design calculation, equipment sizing, pipeline pressure drop simulation, etc.
Support new plant commissioning as needed.
Plant process training to improve operator/engineer skills.
Participate, promote and enforce Air Products safety programs, rules and procedures actively.
Any other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Chemical Engineering.
5-10 years of relevant working experience in cryogenic Air Separation Unit.
Knowledge in P&ID, plant design software, process design tools.
Good analytical skills.
Ability to work in a hands-on environment (an operating plant).
Fluent in English.
