Your Impact
We are looking for a hands-on, results-driven Plant Manager to lead our Mebane, NC manufacturing facility. In this high-visibility role, you will drive operational excellence, lead Lean transformation, and play a key role in scaling production to support our continued growth.
You’ll be instrumental in building a high-performing culture, launching new production capabilities, and ensuring top-tier performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day plant operations, ensuring alignment with production goals and customer commitments
- Drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity (SQDCP)
- Lead new product introductions, line startups, and facility expansion efforts
- Champion Lean Manufacturing (VSM, Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, SMED, A3 problem solving)
- Build and sustain a continuous improvement culture and Lean Daily Management System
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality teams
- Develop and coach high-performing teams, fostering accountability and engagement
- Use data and KPIs to drive performance, decision-making, and operational improvements
What You Bring
- 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including plant operations
- Proven experience in plant startups, expansion, or scaling production
- Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required (Black Belt preferred)
- Experience in battery, electro-mechanical, or similar production environments is a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
