The Plant Controller- Operations oversees the financial side of the plant, focusing on raw material and yield analysis while helping the operations team manage labor and other operating expenses. The role, as a business partner to the manufacturing operational team, ensures the accuracy of financial information, helps to understand the financial results, optimize operations and assists with the successfully completion of transformation projects.

- Salary range 005: $84 600 to $105 800 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)
How you will contribute to collective success:
- Determine periodically analyze raw material yields used in manufacturing and associated performance indicators;
- Support and participate in month-end closing activities (Journal entries, analysis of operational expenditures & month end KPI’s);
- Perform variance analysis and monthly presentations of financial results to the operational leadership team;
- Develop the plant manufacturing budget & monthly projection;
- Collaboratively perform plant costing (variable costs + fixed overheads);
- Assist the plant management team in developing and monitoring key performance indicators to assess functional performance and opportunities for additional cost reductions;
- Participate in cost control and build the future by providing financial analysis and recommendations;
- Develop data- and fact-based information to support decisions enabling productivity measures to reduce overall cost.

- Bachelor's degree in business administration (BBA), accounting or finance;
- Completed CPA designation, or relevant experience (3 to 5 years);
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (plant) an asset;
- Knowledge of SAP;
- Good knowledge of Excel, formulas and pivot tables (Power Query an asset).
