Position Summary

The Plant Administrative Coordinator provides administrative and clerical support for daily manufacturing plant operations. This position serves as the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and job applicants while ensuring efficient office operations and supporting plant purchasing activities. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What To Expect:

  • Greet and assist visitors, vendors, contractors, and job applicants in a professional manner
  • Process purchase orders and assist with purchasing activities for plant materials and supplies
  • Communicate with vendors regarding orders, deliveries, and invoices
  • Maintain purchasing records and support invoice reconciliation
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and shipments
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails
  • Maintain office supplies, breakroom supplies and coordinate office organization
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties including filing, scanning, data entry, and document management as needed
  • Support plant management with reports, correspondence, and scheduling as needed
  • Support safety, quality, and operational initiatives as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Be a hands-on team player.
  • Conform to site health and safety procedures as appropriate.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team operations and business needs.

What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Previous administrative experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
  • Previous purchasing or procurement experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred

Work Environment:

  • Office environment within a manufacturing facility
  • Regular interaction with plant personnel, vendors, and visitors
  • May require occasional walking throughout the production floor

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to use standard office equipment regularly
