Leidos Engineering is seeking a Project Coordinator I to join our System Planning team within our Power Delivery Solutions division. In this role, you will work alongside project managers, engineering managers, and lead engineers to provide administrative project manager tasks including schedule development, resource tracking, and process improvement. You will work with a diverse blend of Distribution, Transmission, Distributed Energy Resources, and Protection projects mostly in the United States.

The successful Project Coordinator I candidate will support the following activities with guidance from a Lead Project Manager:
• Support project teams delivering electric system planning and engineering studies and/or solutions
• Coordinate with Engineering Leads to track and execute client deliverables
• Accept responsibility for overall project performance and reporting;
• Communicate effectively with project teams, functional leaders, and support personnel
• Create and maintain resource loaded schedules utilizing MS Project
• Complete monthly client invoicing, accruals, and accounts receivable within prescribed time frames
• Assist with the preparation of bid documents, cost estimates, and responses to Requests for Proposal
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Organizational Management or a closely related discipline
• Ideal candidate will have 2+ year of demonstrated experience in project management, scheduling, and/or coordination
• Must be capable of planning, organizing, directing, and tracking technical efforts on assigned tasks
• Experience managing and reporting project financial performance, budgets, proposals, scopes, and schedules
• Experience with project management and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project) and MS Office Suite
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to interact with stakeholders in an effective manner
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with electric power industry and knowledge of business issues associated with power delivery services
• PMP Certification or willingness to obtain within two years
• Demonstrated success with a team approach to the consulting business
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project
