KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the client in overseeing construction works, maintaining and monitoring project plans, schedules, progress, and budgets to ensure high-quality project delivery with excellent safety standards.
- Coordinate communication between project team members, contractors and other relevant stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration.
- Facilitate progress meetings with contractors and manage progress updates to the client on weekly and monthly basis.
- Document and follow-up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
- Ensure project deadlines are met.
- Determine and highlight any project changes. Evaluate the potential risks due to the changes and prepare contingency plans to minimize the risks.
- Monitor project progress, identify issues, risks, or delays, and propose adjustments to schedules or strategies as necessary.
- Provide regular updates and detailed reports on project status, developments, and outcomes.
- Review weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts, including project costs and potential changes.
- Undertake project tasks assigned by Project Manager, when required.
- Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for the project.
- Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
- Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
- Review presentation materials on resource management such as sand volume assessment from alternative sand source.
- Review and coordinate submissions by planning engineers.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineer or related field of study.
- At least fifteen (15) years’ experience in managing large scale civil engineering construction projects, of which 5 years were spent mainly on marine works that involved significant dredging, reclamation and rock works as well as wharf and jetty construction
- Proven experience in construction project management or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
- Willing to accept Project-base status
- Willing to be stationed in Manila throughout the assignment.
