We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Planning and Control Manager to join the Compressor Rotor Facility in Annesley, Nottinghamshire. This is an opportunity to play a key role in strengthening our Planning & Control capability and driving improved performance against our customer delivery commitments.
As a Planning and Control Manager, you will lead Planning & Control activities across the manufacturing facility and subcontract offloads. You will be responsible for supporting effective delivery performance, optimising inventory and logistics costs, and leading the team to identify and resolve risks that could impact our customers.
What you will be doing:
Leading the Planning & Control team and driving performance through effective use and understanding of performance data.
Supporting the team in the management and improvement of key delivery metrics.
Coordinating the Sales and Operations Planning process across the relevant commodities and supply chain value stream.
Anticipating, managing and resolving delivery risks and issues to support customer delivery commitments.
Supporting the optimisation of inventory and logistics costs across the manufacturing facility and subcontract offloads.
Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support effective planning and delivery.
Developing and coaching team members to support their professional growth, strengthen team capability and deliver a great customer experience.
Position Qualifications:
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Robust knowledge of Planning & Control, SAP and/or MRP.
Relevant experience within planning, manufacturing or supply chain.
The ability to communicate effectively with all parts of the business, including internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience of leading or supporting Planning & Control activities within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
Experience of using performance data and key delivery metrics to drive improvements in performance.
Knowledge and experience of Sales and Operations Planning processes.
Experience of identifying, managing and resolving delivery risks and issues.
Experience of developing and coaching others to build capability and support a strong customer experience.
