A broad responsibility to ensure that the department meets set standards for customer service, production targets, and quality standards.  Must ensure procedures for scheduling are complied with in order to maximize customer service and efficiency.  Communicate plans, line changes, and customer service information to floor personnel and ensure these targets are met by monitoring and assessing production activities and performance.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• Ensures that cell queues are set up to support on time shipment of product and efficient manufacturing; develops action plan to correct as needed.
• Ensures that the system is set up properly with correct lead times, minimums, and build quantities to support the scheduling process.
• Ensure that on time shipment of product meets established targets or are improved upon. Continuously works to insure customer expectations are met on a timely basis.
• Monitors inventory accuracy at all levels for accuracy and timely input. Where counts and identifications are wrong, participates in root-cause analysis and corrective actions are taken.
• Responsible for identifying and resolving scheduling issues. situations must be communicated up the chain as necessary.
• Must be adept at troubleshooting systems issues and entering or recommending a course of action to correct the results.
• Ensure that cell queues are followed as prioritized.
• Ensure that maintenance on all systems is performed on a timely basis. Translate schedules into a format that is clearly understandable. Lead meetings by specific area of responsibility to insure the needs are accurately communicated and execution plans are in place to meet customer expectations.
• Assist in physical inventories as required.
• Provide assistance to floor personnel to include support for issues.
• Ensures that line changes are properly and timely administered with minimum scrap and obsolescence.
• Must wear the correct PPE at all times and dress in a safe manner.
• Report any violations of safety rules and regulations.

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Demonstrated knowledge of systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills including Access.
• Other Advanced Database Skills preferred
• Possesses requisite math, writing, reading and good communication skills.
• Must possess good data entry skills.
• Must understand how to work within set policies and procedures. Must be well organized.
• Must be able to form teams, set, and meet targets for production and service.
• Must be adept at troubleshooting and problem solving. Must be able to innovate.
• Must be able to work independently and efficiently with multiple deadlines. Strong organizational skills.
• Must be professional and have a good work ethic.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE

A four-year degree in Business or related field. Equivalent work experience acceptable.
