Job Description:
Plan and monitor the requirements of the ORMCO areas, according to the client's needs.

Reviews and analyzes the information in the system about the client's requirements and inventories to generate work orders. Confirms that order information is correct in terms of part numbers, quantities, and start and expiration dates, and subsequently records them in production control files. Send work orders to be filled.

Defines the sequence in which work orders will be processed according to the client's requirements, seeking a balanced production mix and based on the priorities that are defined. Complying with the delivery date defined for each work order, following the first-in-first-out rule, and also considering reports such as backorder, on hand exceptions to sales order quantity, and shortage reports.

Ensures that work orders are supplied with material. Once the materials are supplied, you receive them and verify that all the information is correctly documented. Once documented, it releases them to be sent to the production floor and continuously monitors them, if necessary expediting some order(s), until it is sent to the customer and enters the Finished product inventory.

Create purchase orders in the system (for the product and process that applies), based on the information obtained from production and reviewing the system. Once created, it sends them to the supplier for processing. Subsequently, they follow up to ensure that the dates are met and that there are no subsequent problems regarding price and/or quantities. Maintains contact with suppliers.

Prepares reports on WIP, Shipments, Back Order, Component Shorts, Finished Product Inventory, overdue orders on the production floor, monitoring of external processes, and all those reports necessary to inform the departments about the situation of the production areas.

Create and modify work orders and where necessary, purchase orders. Performs order movement transactions when required, and if necessary makes adjustments to orders.

Maintains planning parameters such as delivery times, waste factors, safety inventory, lot sizes, etc. It ensures that production has the necessary material to comply with production plans and also monitors the availability of other types of resources such as machinery, cutting tools and production supplies. Informs the Production Supervisor of the volume, process time, percentage of compliance with delivery dates, backorders on the floor, percentage of waste and the delivery of the production schedule.
Job Requirements:

Professional preferred Industrial Engineer, Graduate in Systems or Graduate in Business Administration.

Basic knowledge of production planning and control.

Preferably having taken APICS modules.
