This position is responsible for the demand planning and forecasting process that results in consensus Forecasts for assigned regions, countries and products (instruments, consumables/reagents and parts). This position coordinates with Commercial functions in those locations to compile forecasts for the products. Additionally, responsible for China localization projects, including tactical and operational activities.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to do the monthly sales forecast collection/analysis and update.
- Facilitate/Support the monthly demand planning meeting and regional S&OP meeting.
- Establish reviews and maintain an effective process to drive forecast generation and demand management in the system with the develop processes and tools of ERP system (SAP,APO DP/SNP).
- Do accurate planning and Liaise with global supply planning to ensure timely supply and communicate exceptions.
- Regularly review inventory and drive actions to meet inventory target and estimates each month. Actively reduce slow moving/obsolete stock to avoid the scrap risk.
- KPI controls to align with Supply Chain strategies.
- Data management & improvement in systems for planning and purchase order.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned

- Ensure market/sales intelligence data added to the statistical forecasts is substantiated by business expectations and reconciled to overall business plans.
