Manage daily production planning and MRP operations, validate part numbers, establish priorities and work orders, coordinate with production/engineering/sales/expeditor, update inventory and MRP messages, and provide administrative support (reception, scheduling, vendor invoice approval and coding) for the facility.

Responsibilities:
- Process all ILink (JD Edward) messages for production ready daily.
- Review and confirm all part numbers are appropriate and valid.
- Plan’s production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
- Provide support and information for manufacturing departments with data that assists them with customer’s needs to include coordination with the Expeditor.
- Establish effective communication with various groups such as Engineering, Sales and Production departments especially through email.
- Update inventory management system and maintain MRP messages.
- Set up work order for internal, external make items and supply requisitions for outside purchasing.
- Provide general administrative assistance for the Tuboscope Holmes Rd Facility:
- Professional phone etiquette
- Direct incoming switchboard phone calls
- Greet visitors and handle deliveries
- Schedule conference room reservations
- Order lunches for meetings
- Light filing and/or ordering of supplies
- Vendor invoice approval and coding process for Tuboscope Management and consolidated statements if required. Duties include but are not limited to receiving vendor invoices for Tuboscope management and consolidated expenses, obtaining proper approval, code expenses to proper Tuboscope cost center and account. Follow up and monitor the management and consolidated invoices to make sure they are in the system with no errors or issues. Invoices will include but not limited to US leases, communication invoices, utilities, freight, consignment, office supplies and other expenses for management and Holmes Rd.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Associated degree preferred and some experiences in production planning and/or manufacturing.
- Some Knowledge of JD Edward or any ERP planning tool will be beneficial.
- Great knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Able to organize and manage multiple priorities in this environment.
- Need to be self-motivated and show initiative.
- Adequate written and verbal communication skills required.
- Good analytical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities are vital.
- Must be able to make decision in a timely manner.
Skills Required
- Experience in production planning and/or manufacturing
- Associate degree
- Knowledge of JD Edwards or other ERP planning tools
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word
