Job Description:

Are you ready to take your career to the next level with our prestigious leading law firm client? We are seeking a dedicated Pitch and Proposal Coordinator to support our firm’s overall business development efforts.

This is a non-exempt position with a hybrid schedule, requiring you to be in the office three days a week or more if special events are taking place. As part of our firmwide Marketing & Business Development Department, your key responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

  • Prepare drafts of pitches and RFPs detailing the capabilities of the firm
  • Support the management of the firmwide pitch and RFP tracking system, including logging new business opportunities and outcomes, following up with attorneys on the status of open opportunities, and correctly tagging pitch information in the system
  • Manage firmwide awards database and calendar, including updating deadlines, understanding awards criteria, and recording outcomes
  • Be responsible for the planning, and execution of all marketing events logistics
  • Writing or working on pitches/RFPs
  • Responsible for collateral updates
  • Help ensure that mailing lists, experience records and other data projects are handled effectively and efficiently
  • Work with the firm’s research team to pull information on current and prospective clients
  • Develop audience segmentation and targeting strategies for email list building and optimization
  • Proficiency in email reporting, providing user training and support, supporting email policies and best practices
  • Directory submissions and other departmental projects
  • Assist with various department-wide tasks as assigned
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field required
  • Demonstrated initiative, highly organized and detail oriented
  • Possess strong interpersonal and time-management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are critical to success
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exemplary customer service and collaborations skills, with the ability to work well within a team
  • Demonstrate initiative, independent thinking and creative problem solving
  • Willingness to learn
  • Proven ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of efficiency
  • Capability to handle multiple tasks with competing deadlines simultaneously and see projects through to completion
  • Flexibility to work the schedule required to satisfy event responsibilities
  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period.
