Technical Sales Engineer 

Join a global leader in filtration solutions, driving innovation and excellence across industries. We’re regularly looking for a highly motivated Technical Sales Engineers/Territory Managers to strengthen our market presence either in the Industrial Solutions field (Applications such as dust collection systems, process filtration, compressed air and gas filtration, industrial liquid filtration, and power-generation air intake systems) or the Mobile Solutions field (applications such as engine air intake filtration, fuel filtration, lube and hydraulic filtration for off-road equipment, trucks, agriculture, and construction machinery​).

Role Responsibilities:

  • Promote Donaldson products and services through commercial and technical support to customers and distributors.
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and manage sales opportunities from prospecting through closing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with end users, OEMs, contractors, agents, and distributors.
  • Establish communication matrix with different stakeholders across key accounts, engineers, operation and maintenance, plant managers, and procurement
  • Conduct site visits, assess customer equipment, and provide first-line technical support.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations tailored to customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, engineering, pricing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure successful project delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Solid first experience in technical sales
  • Experience in one of the above mentioned applications
  • Proven ability to build relationships and manage key accounts independently.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and administrative skills with CRM reporting experience.
  • Proficiency in English and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a multinational- or internal environment
  • Proficiency in an additional European language and prior experience managing resellers or distributors.
