Physiotherapist [SR01-001]

A Physiotherapist is a licensed healthcare professional who helps individuals recover from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions affecting movement and function. The role involves assessing patient needs, creating customized treatment plans, and using a variety of physical techniques to promote healing, mobility, and overall well-being.

Monday to Friday 9-5 or 10-6, Saturday/Sunday half day(rotation)

​Monthly Salary Range
RM2,200 - RM4,200 depending on experience

Responsibilities

1. Patient Assessment:

• Conduct initial evaluations to understand patients’ physical conditions, medical history, and functional limitations.

• Perform diagnostic tests such as range-of-motion measurements and muscle strength assessments.

• Set realistic and measurable treatment goals based on assessment findings.

2. Treatment Planning and Implementation:

• Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient’s condition and goals.

• Apply manual therapy techniques, exercise therapy, and therapeutic modalities (e.g., ultrasound, TENS, heat/ice).

• Teach exercises and stretches to improve mobility, strength, posture, and coordination.

3. Monitoring and Adjustment:

• Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery.

• Educate patients and families on self-management strategies, ergonomics, and preventive care.

• Encourage patient participation in therapy and provide emotional support as needed.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

• Refer patients to specialists or additional services when necessary.

• Provide clear reports and documentation for medical records, insurance, or legal purposes.

5. Administrative and Professional Duties:

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and case notes.

• Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety standards, and clinic/hospital protocols.

• Participate in professional development activities and stay updated on new treatment methods and research.
