We are seeking a motivated, experienced Physician Assistant to support our busy ENT practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ENT clinical procedures and operating room (OR) experience. In addition to direct patient care, the position offers opportunities to participate in academic and research activities, contributing to the advancement of otolaryngology care and knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical exams.
- Perform and assist with ENT-specific clinical procedures, such as nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, and otomicroscopy and head and neck biopsies.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients.
- Assist surgeons in the operating room for a wide range of ENT and Head and Neck procedures.
- Manage patient follow-ups and collaborate on treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, procedures, and post-care instructions.
- Participate in academic activities, such as teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, or fellows.
- Contribute to clinical research projects and quality improvement initiatives within the department.

QualificationsNew Grads will not be considered. Minimum of 3 years of clinical (APP) experience recently in ENT required or graduate from an Otolaryngology PA Fellowship
Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the AZ State Board of Medical Practice.
Additional Qualifications:
- Active BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date and DEA registration required
- Proficiency in ENT-specific procedures and OR protocols.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Interest or experience in academic and research-based medicine.
