You will become part of a team focused on developing bespoke applications, engaging in the entire software development life cycle (SDLC)
As part of a small but growing team of 10 developers, you’ll be dedicated to delivering top-notch applications to our valued clientele. We pride ourselves on creating an environment that empowers our developers with the right tools and support.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with some commercial experience in a software development environment, preferably with mobile experience, to join a leading organization that offers significant growth and career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Feature Development: Design, develop, and implement new features using PHP and Laravel.
- Bug Fixes: Identify and resolve bugs in the application, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Database Management: Perform database investigations and optimizations, focusing on PostgreSQL.
- Front-end Development: Work with Vue.js to enhance the user interface and improve user experience.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new functionalities.
- Code Review: Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and maintain high code quality.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation for code, features, and workflows.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework.
- Experience with Vue.js for front-end development.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and database management.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with other PHP frameworks or JavaScript libraries.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Previous experience in Field service management/ business critical software solutions
