Position Summary
CVS Health has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist Supervisor in our Specialty mail service pharmacy.
As the Pharmacist Supervisor you will supervise staff in our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy, and to provide direction to other professional and non-professional staff within Pharmacy operations to ensure that patient requests are met and prescription orders are processed in an accurate and efficient manner to achieve exceptional customer service and to exceed company and customer expectations. As the Pharmacist Supervisor you will be responsible for directing daily workflow, interviewing/hiring, evaluating & reviewing performance, coaching & counseling, disciplinary action and daily supervision of the staff to ensure that all department and company policies and procedures are followed.
This position oversees daily operations in fulfillment. Fulfillment center operates with a total of over 100 employees with each supervisor managing around 25 reports each.
Hours of operation are 6:00am-11:30pm Monday through Thursday, Friday from 7:00am through 8:00pm, and Sunday 8:00am-1:30pm.
In this role you will be responsible for:
* Monitoring workflow and production measures throughout the day for timely and accurate dispensing of patient orders.
* Working with the manager to resolve issues and problems according to set guidelines.
* Actively participate in the company’s Quality Improvement Program by monitoring each employee for accuracy, productivity, and customer service through collecting key performance indicator data, evaluating results and making recommendations for improvement to the quality team and the individual through coaching sessions.
* Monitor reports for daily production volume to ensure efficiency and accuracy is reflected in assignment groups and overall team statistics and provide to management and quality team as requested.
* Provide individual and department training, coaching, counseling, and motivation.
* Hold regular meetings to encourage suggestions for process improvements and to provide necessary information and training updates.
* Work with management to motivate staff by providing an enjoyable working environment that encourages teamwork and internal and external customer service. Consistently offer positive feedback to staff on an individual and department level. Provide coaching to individuals to improve performance, encourage growth, and offer opportunity for success on the job. Counsel and administer corrective action as needed in accordance to department and Human Resource policies and procedures when necessary.
* Complete bi-annual written performance reviews and discuss with individuals along with ongoing performance updates throughout the year.
* Coordinate workflow and procedure changes and issues/problem resolutions as it relates to the department and the company

Schedule
Schedule requires candidate to be flexible working a weekly rotating shift:
1st shift 6:00am-3:00pm
2nd shift 8:30am-5:00pm
3rd shift 11:30am-8:00pm
4th shift 2:00pm-10:30pm (12:00pm-8:00pm on Fridays)
On-site weekend work is usually not required, although could be expected occasionally.
Physical Requirements
This role requires standing and walking, lifting and moving items ranging from 30-60lbs, and active participation in production when volume necessitates. You will also have computer work daily.
Required Qualifications
* Proven ability to evaluate work and process flow to ensure optimal efficiency.
* 1+ years prior team leadership experience
* Ability to commit to the rotating shift schedule shown above.
* Proven experience in a high intensity, fast paced production environment.
* Proven ability to effectively manage people and provide team leadership.
* Licensed Pharmacist in New Jersey
* Ability to work 100% onsite at our facility in Fairfield, NJ

* Multiple state licensed as a Pharmacist
* One year of previous people leadership experience
Education

The typical pay range for this role is:
$141,600.00 - $225,000.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
