Curant Health is searching for a Pharmacy Quality Coordinator to join its team in our Smyrna GA Office. This position is primarily responsible for all adjudication of prescription claims which includes primary, secondary and tertiary insurance claims.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for creating and conducting audits to assist in the monitoring, measurement, and evaluation of Curant Health’s pharmacy operations. The Pharmacy Quality Coordinator will perform pharmacy operation reviews to ensure compliance with all federal and state requirements, company standard operating procedures, and quality expectations.

  • Evaluate production processes for compliance with quality requirements
  • Participate in quality audits
  • Collaborate with management for performance enhancement of least performing personnel
  • Perform operational audits to monitor for accuracy of data entry, correct documentation and follow through of work
  • Evaluate employee and department quality performance to support on-going training opportunities and enhance department best practices
  • Maintain error tracking (PQC) data for both locations and assess trends, training needs and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop metrics, collate data and update performance improvement metrics
  • Utilize ObserveAI as a training and performance improvement resource to enhance the quality of phone calls and patient interactions.
  • Develop and maintain a formal Quality Assurance program focused on adverse drug event reporting and InteliView DUR consistency.
  • Document, attend meetings and assist with implementation all new quality improvement projects.
Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills and communication skills to interact with a wide variety of personalities is required.

  • At least one (1) year of experience at Curant Health in a Lead or Specialist role (Internal Candidate)

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience as a Pharmacy Technician

  • Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and at least 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area, or board certification.

  • Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician in the state which work will be conducted. PTCB certification a plus.
