Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and customer focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our friendly and supportive pharmacy team at Ramsay Pharmacy Wangaratta, on a permanent full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

About the Role

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy while providing exceptional service to customers and patients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting customers with over-the-counter products and general enquiries
  • Processing sales and handling transactions accurately
  • Replenishing stock and maintaining merchandising displays
  • Supporting pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with daily operations
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant work environment
  • Assisting with stock control and inventory management

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Certificate II in community Pharmacy and S2/S3 qualification preferred but not essential
  • Previous working experience in pharmacy or retail setting
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a busy team environment
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including Saturday mornings

Additional Information

  • Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
