The
Pharmacist is responsible for overseeing daily clinical and retail pharmacy
operations, ensuring excellent patient care, and delivering top-tier customer
service. This role involves dispensing medications accurately, providing expert
clinical advice, managing inventory—including wellness and cosmetic
products—and driving community engagement. Operating with a high degree of
independence, the ideal candidate will combine strong attention to detail with
clinical expertise and commercial awareness to support the pharmacy's growth
and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Dispense
medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and regulatory
guidelines.
- Provide
professional clinical counseling to patients regarding medication usage, side
effects, and general wellness.
- Manage
and optimize retail pharmacy operations, including the promotion and stock
management of wellness products and cosmetics.
- Deliver
exceptional customer service to build and maintain strong patient relationships
within the community.
- Leverage
social media and digital platforms to enhance the pharmacy's visibility and
drive community health literacy.
- Monitor
inventory levels, ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products, and
maintain meticulous records.
Requirements
- Bachelor
of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree.
- Current
and a valid Pharmacist license to practice.
- Previous
experience working in a community pharmacy is preferred.
- Strong
clinical knowledge coupled with excellent customer service and communication
skills.
- High
level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal
supervision.
- Experience
with wellness products, cosmetics, and retail pharmacy operations is a distinct
advantage.
- Digital
savvy with social media literacy is an added advantage.
- Proximity
to the pharmacy location is highly preferred.
