Job DescriptionPosition Summary: The Pharmacist will be responsible for reviewing Prior Authorization and medication exception requests. Will provide guidance to the PA Specialists regarding case evaluation criteria; and will serve as a clinical resource to the department as needed. This position will include completing data analysis and various clinical projects.
Duties: Will be responsible for reviewing Prior Authorization/Exception requests and performaing Misc. data analysis, clinical projects and serve as the primary clinical resource for prior authorizations.
QualificationsActive TX state licensed pharmacist with current license to practice with no restrictions
Experience: * Clinical pharmacist with experience in medication review, patient counseling and identification of drug-related problems * Outstanding written and communication skills required * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail necessary * Experience with Microsoft applications required
