Job Description:
As Pet Caretaker at Mars, you will work in a team environment to provide daily care and management for the pets [in Pet Center].
What are we looking for?

Experience interacting with dogs and cats
-
Knowledge of animal health and management issues is preferred
-
Experience with basic grooming and training is preferred
-
We want someone who will be willing to work in all weather conditions
What will be your key responsibilities?
-
Performing animal behavior and obedience training following the Mars Standards, including implementing behavior modification plans, training for research activities, and support for rehoming
-
Implementing environmental enrichment, exercise, socialization and grooming programs in accordance with standard operating procedures
-
Evaluating pet health (both mental and physical) for any veterinary and/or enrichment needs

Assisting the Health Care Team in treatment and research collections as needed
