Brown & Brown is seeking Personal Lines Client Account Manager Sr to join our growing team in Phoenix, AZ!   

   

The Personal Lines Account Manager Sr is responsible for managing a book of personal lines business while delivering exceptional service and supporting business development initiatives. This role combines account management and sales responsibilities, requiring a strong understanding of the insurance market, products, and competitors while ensuring regulatory compliance and confidentiality. In addition to account management responsibilities, you are expected to lead by example, act as a mentor to junior team members, and uphold a high standard of professionalism and client service. 

   

How You Will Contribute:   

  • Manage and retain a book of personal lines clients, while identifying opportunities for growth. 
  • Deliver timely responses through phone, email, and multiple communication platforms to support client needs. 
  • Develop and maintain proactive communications with clients, underwriters, and carriers through phone, email, meetings, and seminars. 
  • Analyze customers’ loss exposures and determine coverage needs.  
  • Prepare proposals and meet with the client to present recommendations. 
  • Generate new business through cross-selling and account rounding. 
  • Assist customers with day-to-day questions, coverage changes, billing issues, etc.  
  • Complete all policies and underwriting specifications on accounts; prepare all accompanying documentation and analysis.  
  • Attend required training sessions, courses, etc. to develop and maintain up-to-date skills, licensing, and product knowledge. 
  • Build and nurture collaborative relationships with teammates at all levels of Brown & Brown, working closely with internal teams to provide exceptional service and innovative solutions. 
  • Maintain a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development by actively monitoring and staying current with evolving industry practices and regulatory changes. 
  • Review policies, endorsements, renewals, and audits for accuracy and completeness. 
  • Issue certificates of insurance, binders, and other policy documents as needed. 
  • Assist in developing marketing plans and proposals that meet client needs. 
  • Act as a liaison between clients and carriers to ensure coverage needs are met. 
  • Maintain productive relationships with insurance carriers and vendors. 
  • Facilitate team meetings and strategy sessions related to client service delivery. 
  • Maintain accurate records in agency management systems. 

 

Licenses & Certifications:   

  • Arizona and relevant non-resident P&C licenses. 
  • CISR, CIC, and/or CPRIA required. 

 

Skills & Experience to be Successful:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field preferred. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of personal lines insurance experience (or a combination of education and experience). 
  • In-depth understanding of personal insurance products and terminology. 
  • Experience with AMS360 or the ability to learn new systems quickly. 
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite. 
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor. 
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. 
  • Professional office environment experience.
