Role Overview The Personal Lines Account Manager (New Business) is responsible for managing new business client onboarding, processing submissions, quoting personal lines policies (Auto, Home, Umbrella, and Flood), and supporting producers through policy issuance. This full-time onsite role combines client relationship management, carrier communication, and technical Agency Management System (AMS) workflow administration.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (required). • Insurance Experience: Minimum of 1+ year of experience in insurance account management or customer service. Personal Lines experience is strongly preferred. • Licensing: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required (Texas license preferred or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire). • Software Proficiency: Experience with Agency Management Systems (AMS) such as NowCerts and CRM platforms such as InsuredMine. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is required. • Core Skills: Excellent communication, multitasking ability, active listening, carrier rating knowledge, and strong attention to detail. • Bilingual Preference: Fluency in English and Spanish is a strong plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES New Business Client Onboarding • Serve as the primary point of contact for new Personal Lines clients. • Conduct coverage reviews to ensure complete asset protection from day one. Submission & Application Processing • Partner with sales producers to gather underwriting information. • Submit applications to carriers and MGAs. • Track quotes and issue binders in a timely manner. CRM & AMS Pipeline Management • Maintain organized pipeline stages within InsuredMine. • Enter accurate client information, coverage notes, and documentation into NowCerts. Carrier Relations & Quoting • Communicate directly with insurance carriers to resolve underwriting questions. • Secure competitive pricing and monitor policies through the issuance process. Cross-Selling & Outbound Growth • During lower-volume periods, proactively contact lost-client lists. • Manage cross-sell and upsell opportunities to support agency growth. Operations & Compliance • Issue policy endorsements, certificates/evidence of insurance, and binders. • Maintain strict compliance with agency procedures and applicable state regulations.

Skills Required

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • At least 1 year of experience in insurance account management or customer service
  • Personal Lines insurance experience
