Position Title: Personal Lines Account Manager
Business Unit: INSA
Reports to: Supervisor of Personal Lines Client Services
Position Overview:
This job involves communicating with customers to access their current situation, researching products to match the customer's needs, processing paperwork, and ensuring existing customer information is up to date. It also involves processing policy changes based on customer requests.
Primary Responsibilities:
Markets existing business, determines premiums, prepares proposals, and quotes insurance for cross sell and upsell.
Checks new and renewal policies and endorsements for accuracy, monitors renewal process by verifying all policies listed on the expiration list have been renewed, rewritten, or cancelled.
Receives phone calls from clients and companies regarding insurance, claims, and changes to customer insurance programs.
Maintains electronic or paper files in an orderly, up-to-date manner according to policies and procedures. Maintains a system to follow up on outstanding orders, correspondence and reports.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
