Senior Perl Developer (NoSQL and API Integration Expertise)

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a skilled Perl Developer to join our innovative team. This role is essential for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Perl applications and scripts, contributing significantly to our business objectives through high-performance, reliable software solutions. As a Perl Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design APIs, integrate databases, and support web applications, ensuring seamless operation and growth.

Software Requirements

• Required:

  • Extensive experience with Perl programming, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and regular expressions.
  • Proficiency in interacting with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite) using Perl DBI and ORM tools.
  • Strong experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

• Preferred:

  • Familiarity with web frameworks (e.g., Dancer, Mojolicious) and technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Test::More, Test::Harness).

Overall Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Perl applications and scripts to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement APIs, integrate with databases, and support web applications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects while ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Stay updated with advancements in Perl and related technologies to continually enhance application performance.
