Performance Test Engineer and Test Architect
Location: Barrington, IL
Position Type: Fulltime/Permanent
• Create Performance Testing Strategy, Create framework to implement strategy, Strategize execution, analysis and reporting
• Implement strategy, Script, Execute, Analyze and Report
• Exeprience in Design and Architecture of Perfromance test environments, Tool Experience - HP suite (LR, PC, Scripting, - Multiple protocols), At least one scripting languagge - Perl, Javascript, Linux shell), Should have worked with APM tools, Exeprience with different diagnosis tools - Dynatrace, AppDynamics and exposure to Profiling Java and .NET apps
• Experience in design and scripting LR scenarios, VUGen scripts with multiple protoclos (Web, HTTP, C/VBScript, Java), exeperience with setting up scenarios, working with integrated tools like PC, ALM, Sitescope, execution of Performance tests and analysis of results
• Define Deployment Diagram
• Define Viability Test
• Define Test Strategy (Viability, Workflow, PSR)
• Define Skill Set and Team
• Enter work in Rally
Required Skills:
• Around 6 years’ experience in Performance \ Load Testing using LoadRunner tool
• Expertise in Performance Test Planning \ Strategy Development for different kinds of application like Web\Client-Server
• Expertise in development of performance test scripting \ test scenarios for various protocols like Web, RDP, Java etc
• Expertise in Performance Analysis process and monitoring tools like Site scope
Desirable Skills:
• Knowledge of Performance Testing for Mobile applications on Android / Tablets
• Knowledge of different Automation Testing using QTP\Selenium is preferable
• Knowledge of Performance Testing tools like Junit \ Performance Center etc.

Skills Required
- Around 6 years' experience in Performance/Load Testing using LoadRunner
- Expertise in Performance Test Planning and Strategy Development for Web and Client-Server applications
- Expertise developing performance test scripting and scenarios for protocols like Web, RDP, Java
- Expertise in performance analysis processes and monitoring tools such as SiteScope
- Experience designing and architecting performance test environments and frameworks
- Experience with HP testing suite (LoadRunner, Performance Center, VuGen) and integrated tools (ALM, SiteScope)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Perl, JavaScript, Linux shell) and familiarity with VBScript/C as used in VuGen
- Experience with APM tools and diagnostic/profiling tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics) and profiling Java and .NET apps
- Define deployment diagrams, viability tests, test strategies, required skill sets, and team structure; record work in Rally
- Knowledge of Performance Testing for Mobile (Android/Tablets)
- Knowledge of automation testing tools like QTP and Selenium
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like JUnit and Performance Center
