Reporting to the Director Talent Operations, Experiences, will provide advisory support to front line leaders across one or multiple business units. This role is responsible for supporting a positive and consistent manager experience. You will partner closely with peers to enable leaders by providing timely and consistent consultative support. You will be at the forefront of empowering data driven decision making as it pertains to performance, where employees and leaders need support and driving accountability for equitable and consistent performance management and people program delivery.
About this roll* (Responsibilities)
- Act as an advisor to front-line leaders on performance management including:
- Advising leaders on how to address common performance situations including interpreting policy, navigating the Toast performance process with consistent application and best practices on documentation and overall feedback delivery
- Support leaders to ensure equitable and consistent intervention for employees who require support to meet role expectations
- Enabling front-line leaders to have the confidence to lead through common leadership situations that are new for them
- Advise on navigating common but sensitive low performance scenarios
- Leverage internal processes to help leaders navigate through nuance
- Ensure policies, practices, and programs are administered in an equitable and consistent manner
- Partner closely with your leader to ensure the timely identification of trends and sharing of insights on program delivery with Centres of Excellence such as Employee Relations, L&OD or functional People Success Partners (HRBPs)
- Support the compassionate offboarding of employees as required
- Strong customer orientation
- Ensure policies, practices, and programs are administered in an equitable and consistent manner
Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)
- 2+ years in an HR Generalist or Talent Management or equivalent role
- Proven ability to provide sound advice to leader, with or without direction
- Experience working through employee relations situations
- Experience supporting the delivery of performance management programs
- Demonstrated ability to show strong judgment, and the know when to escalate for support
- Strong teamwork & communication
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment law
Special Sauce* (Nice to Haves)
- Experience specializing in performance management or leader advisory as part of a shared services model
- Experience working with large high volume client groups such a Sales or Customer Support

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.

$61,000—$98,000 USD
