What you’ll achieve

You will work within PowerStore Performance Engineering to support development of new platforms, features, and algorithms. As a Performance Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for detailed analysis of performance results and communication of their findings to a variety of internal customers including software developers and engineering leadership.
You will:

• design, development and execution of experiments in order to characterize storage array performance throughout the development cycle (this includes IO performance, as well as that of storage and host based features)
• analyze performance test results and work with development teams to address findings
• support development of new platforms, features, and algorithms
• generation of limited-scope presentations and whitepapers for use as field reference

Essential Requirements

• Familiarity in concepts of computing performance
• Familiarity with Linux and ESXi
• Familiarity in developing automated tests in Python
• Basic storage network administration knowledge
• Understanding of RMF storage response time components
• Experience with Agile development methodology as a Scrum Team member   

Desirable Requirements

• 2-4 years of industry experience or equivalent
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
