The Role
As Performance Marketing Manager, you'll develop and execute paid acquisition strategies across various platforms, manage a substantial budget, optimize campaigns, and analyze performance to drive growth.
Summary Generated by Built In

Healthcare is broken at the first step: patients can't find the right care, understand what it costs, or access the medications they need. Mochi Health is fixing this.

We're building an AI-driven marketplace that makes healthcare discoverable—connecting patients to the right providers, transparent pharmacy pricing, and affordable medications. Over the past few years, we've grown rapidly by combining clinical expertise with technology that actually works for real people, not just hospital systems.

Our platform does what legacy healthcare can't: it gives patients transparent pricing before they pay, personalized medication management that follows them across providers, and long-term access to their own medical records. We're proving that healthcare can be more affordable, more human, and far more intuitive than what exists today.

Join a team that's rebuilding healthcare from the patient up. At Mochi Health, you'll work alongside people who value bold thinking, inclusive collaboration, and getting meaningful work into the world. If you want to do the most impactful work of your career, this is where to do it.

As our Performance Marketing Manager, you will own the paid acquisition - from strategy and budget allocation to creative briefing, campaign execution, and reporting. You'll work cross-functionally with creative, data, and product teams to hit aggressive CAC, ROAS, and growth targets.

This is a high-ownership role suited for someone who loves being close to the numbers and can move fast in a dynamic, test-and-learn environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own end-to-end campaign strategy, execution, and optimization across Google Ads (Search, Shopping, PMax), Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, and Reddit
  • Manage and allocate a multi-million dollar paid media budget with a clear focus on CAC, ROAS, LTV, and blended payback periods
  • Build and maintain a structured creative testing framework - briefing UGC, static, and video assets with hypotheses-driven A/B tests
  • Develop channel-level reporting dashboards and surface performance insights to leadership
  • Partner with the data team to build attribution models, audience segmentation, and incrementality testing frameworks
  • Lead audience strategy including lookalikes, retargeting, exclusions, and first-party data activation (CRM, pixel, CAPI)
  • Identify emerging platforms, placements, and formats - run pilots with clear success criteria before scaling
  • Collaborate with creative, product, and lifecycle teams to align messaging with full-funnel campaigns

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience, with at least 2 years managing a 7-figure monthly budget.
  • Proven track record of scaling DTC, SaaS, or consumer brands with measurable CAC and ROAS improvements
  • Deep expertise in Google Ads (Search, PMax, Shopping) and Meta Ads Manager - platform certifications a plus
  • Hands-on experience running TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, and Reddit campaigns at scale.
  • Strong analytical skills - comfortable in Google Analytics, Looker, or similar BI tools.
  • Solid understanding of MMP platforms ( AppsFlyer or similar) and multi-touch attribution
  • Comfortable operating independently and managing external agencies or freelancers as needed

Nice to Have

  • Experience in performance marketing for health, wellness, or subscription-based products
  • Prior experience running paid campaigns in a healthcare or digital health environment — familiarity with HIPAA-conscious ad practices, compliant audience targeting, and healthcare-specific creative restrictions is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with affiliate or influencer performance channels alongside paid social
  • Knowledge of programmatic media buying (DSPs, SPO concepts)
  • Experience using AI-assisted creative tools or ad copy generators in a structured testing workflow

Benefits:

  • Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance Company
  • Paid Life Insurance
  • 401k with Company matching
  • 24 days of PTO and 14 paid company holidays
  • Generous tech stipend
  • Team lunches to facilitate bonding and connection
  • Emphasis on Wellness: Group activities, mindfulness exercises, physical exercise
  • Frequent office hangouts and meetups outside of work

This role will be onsite 5 days a week in our San Francisco office.
