The Opportunity

As our Performance Marketing Lead, you are the strategic architect of growth. You’ll shape the market’s trajectory by aligning marketing strategy with business goals, integrating channel performance, and driving marketing excellence at scale. This role combines deep strategic insight with hands-on leadership, demanding both rigorous performance oversight and bold innovation. You’ll be instrumental in building a high-impact marketing engine that fuels both immediate returns and long-term brand value.


What You'll Do
Leadership & Strategic Ownership
  • Own the country’s marketing performance strategy, directly aligned with contribution margin, revenue growth, and ROAS goals.

  • Partner with the Country Manager to integrate marketing initiatives into the broader business roadmap.

  • Cultivate a high-performing team environment grounded in accountability, learning, and shared success.

  • Represent the market to global leadership, delivering insights, forecasts, and strategic proposals.

Performance Management & Innovation
  • Serve as the performance recovery lead for underperforming periods—diagnosing issues, spearheading strategic pivots, and aligning with global frameworks.

  • Define and continuously optimize the media mix strategy across channels to balance short-term ROI and long-term brand equity.

  • Oversee all marketing channels (Meta, Google, Email, Affiliates, Influencers, Print, SEO) to ensure integrated, high-performing campaigns.

  • Identify, test, and scale emerging marketing technologies and new channels with rapid feedback loops.

Cross-functional Impact
  • Act as the primary interface between local marketing and global teams.

  • Influence global marketing playbooks by surfacing market-specific insights and advocating for resource needs.

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with product, sales, and ops to ensure end-to-end marketing effectiveness.

  • Lead and manage strategic partnerships with key platforms and top-tier agencies.

People Development
  • Build and nurture a world-class marketing team.

  • Create training initiatives to accelerate team capability.

  • Empower direct reports with clear expectations, ownership, and feedback loops.

Reporting & Forecasting
  • Develop and deliver monthly marketing performance reports with actionable insights.

  • Lead quarterly forecasting of sales performance using historical trends and market analysis.

  • Establish and manage a comprehensive competitor tracking system, including share of voice, creative benchmarks, and pricing insights.


Who You Are
  • 8+ years in performance marketing or growth-focused roles, with 6+ years in e-commerce environments.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience scaling marketing in complex, high-growth markets.

  • Strategic thinker with sharp business acumen and an analytical mindset.

  • Mastery of tools such as Figma, Shopify, Klaviyo, Canva, Jira, and Confluence.

  • Excellent project management and cross-functional leadership skills.

  • Natural collaborator who thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability settings.

  • Egoless and values-driven, always prioritizing the best idea over individual pride.

Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience in multi-country marketing leadership roles.

  • Proven track record launching and scaling new channels to profitability.

  • Strong network of agency and platform contacts.
