About the Role
As the Performance Marketing Manager you will be responsible for supporting Petal & Pup’s global expansion strategy through driving paid performance channels, and managing relationships with external agencies currently engaged. You will focus heavily on the acquisition of new customers, while also delivering a clear re-marketing strategy to continue the brand’s customer retention. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that all paid performance channels are operating at a profitable ROAS (Return on Advertising Spend) and aligned with overarching global marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the development and execution of performance marketing strategies across channels such as Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Connected TV & Affiliate, as well as an overview on CRM strategies across email, sms & app pushes.
- Own and monitor channel performance metrics such as ROAS, sessions, conversion, CPM, CTR & CAC.
- Develop and oversee budgets for the entire paid digital marketing portfolio, ensuring optimal allocation based on performance metrics and strategic objectives in both U.S. and AU markets.
- Ensure all customer facing ads are impactful, on-brand, region-specific, and aligned with go-to-market (GTM) content across all channels.
- Lead a global team in executing against long term strategic initiatives and day to day business objectives, managing competing priorities with limited resources and combining big picture thinking with exceptional attention to detail.
- Work with the wider creative and brand marketing team to ensure messaging & visuals across all channels are consistent and aligned to Petal & Pup brand guidelines.
- Collaborate across all functions including CX, Finance, Creative, Merchandising, Marketing & Operations.
- Provide weekly updates and strategic insights to key stakeholders, key KPIs such as CPM, CAC, ROAS and conversion, as well as alignment on campaign strategies and budget pacing.
- Build and support audience segments and ensure seamless integration and distribution to appropriate marketing channels.
- Work closely with external partners, including digital agency & technology partners to ensure seamless platform integration and performance optimization.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new ad formats, new ad channels and digital marketing best practices to ensure our strategies provide continual growth.
Skills & Experience
- 7-10 year experience in paid performance marketing with a focus on running ad campaigns for fashion, beauty, or lifestyle clients is highly desired.
- Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Build and maintain a strong professional relationship with the wider marketing team and external partners.
- Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to experiment and learn.
- Experience with performance systems and technology platforms (e.g. META, Affiliate Rakuten, Mountain CTV, Google, Tiktok, Pinterest, Google Analytics, Klaviyo, Yotpo & product feeds).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Curiosity and passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
