About us:

Grow Therapy is on a mission to serve as the trusted partner for therapists growing their practice, and patients accessing high-quality care. Powered by technology, we are a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Following the mass increase in depression and anxiety, the need for accessibility is more important than ever. To make our vision for mental healthcare a reality, we’re building a team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered more than ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. We’ve raised more than $178mm of funding from Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, SignalFire, and others.

We’re looking for an RCM Strategy and Operations Manager who is passionate about improving the landscape for mental healthcare. In this role, you’ll own the metric landscape within RCM, working to develop, review, and harness the metrics that allow Grow to bill and resolve the insurance claims that enable us and our providers to grow our businesses. You’ll lead a team of 3-6 Operations Associates and partner with stakeholders across the company to develop and manage the metrics that will set us up to expand access to mental healthcare to all. The RCM Strategy and Operations Manager will report directly to the Directory of Strategy & Operations, RCM within the Insurance Operations Department.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Lead a team of 3-6 Operations Associates and Senior Associates. Coach and guide them in their day-to-day responsibilities, ensuring alignment with the Director on individual and team performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration for Data-Driven Outcomes: Collaborate with our Contracting, Credentialing, Product, Engineering, and Support teams to leverage data and performance insights, ensuring the RCM team is strategically positioned to maximize collections for the services our therapists provide.
  • Process Optimization and Data-Driven Solutions: Work closely with our RCM Leadership team to identify process inefficiencies using data analytics, support targeted improvement plans, and prioritize scalable solutions to enhance collections performance.
  • Data Partnership for Enhanced Performance Monitoring: Partner with our Data team to design and build advanced dashboards and reports, providing comprehensive and real-time insights into collections performance, and enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement and Scalability Through Data: Consistently ideate and implement innovative data-driven strategies to enhance our RCM systems, ensuring our infrastructure scales efficiently with increasing application volumes.

The salary range for this position is $107,681 - $125,000 USD.

You'll be a good fit if:

  • Have 3+ years of experience leading metric and data focused initiatives and teams at healthcare organizations, especially if you have specific experience in Revenue Cycle.
  • Are hyper focused on creating the most efficient processes and driving metric improvements with your team.
  • Deep understanding of how processes are connected to driving KPIs, and how to unwind the root causes driving metric movement.
  • Can solve problems by leveraging data analyses to identify the biggest opportunities, come up with hypotheses, and think about how to test out potential solutions.
  • Have a strong track record of juggling multiple initiatives and clear ability to prioritize most important stuff.
  • Are comfortable using tools like Excel, Sheets, Looker, and Snowflake to perform data analysis.

If you don’t meet every single requirement, but are still interested in the job, please apply. Nobody checks every box, and Grow believes the perfect candidate is more than just a resume.

What We Do

We believe that therapy is an essential part of becoming the best versions of ourselves. No matter who you are or where you are starting, it’s more than support through challenge - it’s the foundation to grow, heal and lead lives that are more resilient, empathic, hopeful and powerful.

Everyone should have the opportunity to receive personalized therapy, and therapists should be able to serve the communities they care about most, not just the 10% of people who can afford to pay out of pocket.

Our mission is to get more people into therapy by bridging the gap between therapists and people seeking mental health care.

Grow Therapy empowers independent therapists to launch and grow thriving in-network private practices by enabling them to tap into large scale credentialing, referrals, administrative and community support enabled by our passionate team/products. When therapists no longer have the hassle of mundane admin tasks like billing and insurance claims or the limitations of out-of-pocket-only payment options, they can provide care to the communities who need it most!

To achieve our lofty ambitions, we’re building an ambitious team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Our founders come from Harvard Medical School, Stripe, and Blackstone, and bring Grow’s mission to life from the inside-out, promoting holistic wellness for all team members. We balance our determination with a culture that champions well-being, from unlimited PTO and a Winter Break to Mental Health Mornings and learning and wellness stipends.

Grow is backed by top VCs and angel investors, including leaders from SignalFire, Village Global, Airbnb, Nurx, PatientPing, and Blackstone. We have a long way to go to maximize our impact, but if we do our job well, in the coming years we will make a difference in countless lives. We hope you’ll join us!
