The Professional Services Consultant is responsible for the implementation of LexisNexis Risk Solutions' products via all delivery channels (e.g., XML, Web Services, Cloud, hosted web application) for clients across all Risk verticals as well as providing hird-level escalation support to create, sustain, and enhance client-generated revenue.
These activities may include providing technical and business process-related consulting services directly to clients, specific support for, and liaison with the following: sales, product, and support teams; other relevant internal staff; and post-production transition support.
The Professional Services Consultant should demonstrate acumen in the relevant LexisNexis products (including software and hardware as applicable), knowledge of common industry practices, and possesses proficiency with tools processes, and methods required to execute duties as described above.
This is a hybrid position, applicants must be able to work from our Sao Paulo office 1-3 times per week. Currently, we are meeting in the office once a week. This is subject to change, though there are no current plans to increase our office frequency.
Responsibilities
- Provides technical integration and consulting services directly to external clients, sales teams, and other support staff for financial services, collections, healthcare, government, law enforcement and insurance verticals for business services' products
- Share product knowledge, best practices, and technical examples with clients in order to advance implementation completion.
- Conduct analysis and apply problem-solving skills to determine root cause of issues. Collaborate with engage and escalate to appropriate resources when necessary to get issues addressed.
- Own correspondence with Sales and client until issue is resolved
- Provides installation, implementation and configuration support, while keeping implementation project plans up-to-date,
- Communicates technical terms to internal and external clients of varying levels of technical understanding.
- Utilizes technical expertise in providing 3rd-level XML support to clients.
- Conducts technical presentations and product demonstrations regarding integration with LexisNexis Risk Solutions' products.
- Participates in departmental projects that improve the productivity of the team.
- Completes required training and skill development to support the client base, individual, developmental needs, team objectives department goals, and company initiatives
- Maintains a detailed understanding of databases programming, search technologies, and web technologies.
- Develops a consultative sales style which incorporates technical skills while delivering business value.
- Stays focused on revenue and remains willing to take the initiative to ensure that LexisNexis wins the decision.
- Continues building on best practices for improved client satisfaction, while looking for opportunities and submitting ideas to improve team effectiveness and productivity in working with Sales, clients, and Web Service solutions
- Provides trends and ideas to management and product owners to consider in future products
- Represents the XML Consultants team in targeted meetings.
- Serves as a mentor for the technical solution consultants.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Consultative skills with the ability to collaborate and to explore options, to demonstrate and to effectively use active listening skills to understand client needs
- Ability to use data quality concepts and tools to effectively resolve client issues, while valuing client needs as high priority.
- Previous consultant experience
- Fluent in English and Portuguese
- Basic Spanish, preferably Intermediate level
