We’re looking for a People Services Advisor to join us in Bradford.

As a People Services Advisor, you'll play a key role in delivering an outstanding employee experience by providing high-quality, accurate and timely support to employees, managers and external stakeholders throughout the employee lifecycle. Acting as a trusted first point of contact for People Services queries, you'll provide guidance on policies and processes, resolve issues efficiently, and engage proactively through a variety of communication channels. You'll combine excellent customer service with professionalism, empathy and attention to detail, ensuring every interaction builds confidence and delivers a positive experience.
What will you be doing?
- Deliver a professional, customer-focused service to employees, managers and external stakeholders across a range of People Services enquiries.
- Manage a high volume of queries via phone, email and case management systems, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee lifecycle, policy, payroll and HR systems-related queries, providing clear guidance and support.
- Take ownership of cases from initial contact through to resolution, keeping customers informed throughout and escalating where appropriate.
- Build positive working relationships through excellent communication, empathy and a proactive approach to customer service.
- Process employee lifecycle transactions accurately and maintain employee records in line with company policies and data protection requirements.
- Support employees and managers with self-service tools and processes, promoting confidence and capability.
- Ensure all interactions and case activity are recorded accurately to maintain service quality and data integrity.
- Meet agreed service levels, quality standards and productivity targets while handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance the customer experience and drive operational efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a seamless service, sharing knowledge, supporting team development and contributing to a positive team culture.

Essential:
- Experience delivering excellent customer service within a contact centre, shared services, HR support or customer-facing environment.
- Proven ability to manage a high volume of enquiries across telephone, email and digital channels.
- Confident handling sensitive, complex or challenging situations with professionalism and discretion.
- Experience working to service levels, KPIs or performance targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
Desirable
- Previous experience within People Services, HR, Employee Services or a shared services environment.
- Understanding of employee lifecycle processes and HR best practices.
- Familiarity with HR systems, case management tools or ticketing platforms.
- Awareness of employment legislation and data protection requirements.
- Experience supporting employees and managers with HR policies, processes and self-service systems.
