In this role, you will help ensure that people processes run smoothly, accurately, and compliantly across the employee lifecycle, while contributing to process optimization, digitalization, and data-driven decision-making in an international environment.

Major Function

As a People Process Specialist, you will provide end-to-end operational HR support throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring that HR processes and transactions are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and local requirements.

Working closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, managers, employees, and other business stakeholders, you will act as a trusted process expert and advisor. You will also contribute to process improvement initiatives, support digital HR solutions, and help deliver a consistent, high-quality HR service experience across the organization.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end operational support across the employee lifecycle, including hiring, employee changes, leave-related processes, and terminations.
  • Manage and execute HR processes and transactions accurately and timely within HR systems, ensuring high standards of data quality and compliance.
  • Guide managers through self-service processes in Workday, including hiring, promotions, terminations, and leave requests.
  • Provide first-line support and guidance to managers and employees on HR processes, policies, systems, and country-specific requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee data and conduct regular audits to ensure alignment with organizational structures and HR records.
  • Take ownership of assigned cases and requests, ensuring proactive follow-up and timely resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Legal, Finance, Compliance, external payroll providers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support global HR processes, including annual merit reviews and performance management cycles.
  • Contribute to reporting activities for local authorities and other compliance-related requirements.
  • Monitor process effectiveness, identify recurring issues, and drive process standardization, simplification, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, AI adoption, and HR technology enhancements within Workday, ServiceNow, and related tools.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data, supporting workforce planning, retention, talent development, and business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Digitalization and Insights teams to develop dashboards and reports that provide meaningful people insights to leadership.
  • Support the implementation of new HR processes, policies, system enhancements, and training initiatives to drive successful adoption.
  • Maintain process documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing activities across the People Process Services team.
  • Handle employee information and HR cases with the highest level of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Regular visits to the Nagykanizsa site to provide HR support, strengthen relationships with stakeholders and employees, and ensure effective collaboration with local leadership and business teams.

Qualifications to Succeed in the Position

You bring:

  • Some experience in HR operations, HR services, people process, or a similar HR support environment within a multinational organization.
  • Experience working with HR information systems; Workday knowledge is considered an advantage.
  • A university or college degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A high level of English, both written and spoken.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly to the Nagykanizsa site would be beneficial
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with employees, managers, and HR stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, process quality, and compliance.
  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • A proactive, customer-focused, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently manage tasks through completion.
  • Comfort working in a multicultural and international environment.
  • The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • A willingness to continuously learn, adapt, and embrace new processes, technologies, and ways of working.
