JOB PURPOSE This role exists to deliver exceptional employee and line manager experience across the full employee lifecycle, by acting as the face of HR and providing expert guidance on people matters. You will play a critical role in enabling compliant, fair and consistent people practices, resolving complex employee relations matters, and contributing to a positive and productive work environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Act as the primary HR contact for employees and line managers, supporting the full employee lifecycle from hire to retire; • Partner with line managers to provide practical, high-quality guidance on individual employee matters; • Manage and resolve complex employee relations (ER) cases, ensuring compliance with local labour laws, company policies, and best practices; • Provide hands-on support across ER topics including performance, disciplinary, grievance, absence, family leave, flexible working, and redundancy processes; • Ensure consistent and fair application of policies and practices, balancing business needs with employee experience; • Act as a trusted advisor and coach to line managers, building capability in people management and decision-making; • Identify ER trends and root causes, providing insights and recommending proactive solutions to prevent recurring issues; • Contribute to knowledge management and continuous improvement of HR systems and tools (e.g., HR hubs/platforms); • Collaborate closely with HR teams (HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Reward, Payroll, etc.) to deliver integrated and seamless HR support; • Promote and uphold company values, standards of conduct, and code of business principles, ensuring a respectful and inclusive workplace. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Proven experience in HR generalist, People Partner, or Employee Relations role (typically 5+ years); • Strong knowledge of local labour laws and HR policies with the ability to apply them in complex situations; • Demonstrated experience managing employee relations cases end-to-end; • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills; • Ability to balance empathy with business needs and exercise sound judgment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Experience working in a matrix or multinational organization; • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and translate insights into actions; • Coaching or facilitation experience to support manager capability building.
