What's the role about?
The People Partner role is responsible for delivering generalist People & Culture initiatives and rhythms that align with our business strategy and talent goals. Working as part of the ANZ People team, you will deliver people, culture and talent solutions that contribute to the achievement of the Business Strategic Plans and initiatives. You will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the People function, delivering on elements of the strategic plan, and supporting our leaders with people planning and actions that advance the team experience each day.
Deliver strategic and operational HR support across the following areas, each with a clear commercial impact:
Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition
Partner with leaders to forecast workforce needs aligned to business growth & lead end-to-end recruitment processes to attract high-performing talent. Reduce time-to-hire and improve workforce agility.
Onboarding & Induction
Design and deliver onboarding experiences that accelerate employee integration. Enhance early productivity and retention of key/ critical talent.
Performance & Capability Development
Support performance review cycles, goal setting, and development planning, & facilitate leadership and capability programs for high potential talent. Drive individual and team performance aligned to business outcomes.
Employee Engagement & Culture
Lead engagement surveys, action planning, and culture-building initiatives, improving retention, team experience, and a flow onto the overall customer & client experience.
Remuneration & Benefits
Support annual remuneration reviews and benchmarking. Provide guidance on benefits and recognition programs. Ensure competitive positioning and cost-effective reward strategies.
Employee Relations & Compliance
Advise on employee relations matters including grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions. Ensure compliance with various Awards and other relevant industrial instruments. Mitigate legal risk and support a fair, compliant workplace.
People Org Operations & Payroll Coordination
Oversee People Org data accuracy, payroll inputs, and reporting, ensuring smooth operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
Change Management & Organizational Development
Support restructures, change initiatives, and workforce transitions, enabling smooth transformation and business continuity as the business continues to grow, evolving our product offering, locations, and headcount
Does this sound like you?
Minimum 5 years P&C/ HR experience in warehousing, logistics, supply chain or related areas..
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
Strong working knowledge of Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards, and National Employment Standards
Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence mid-level & senior stakeholders.
Adaptive and resilient with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Commercially minded with a focus on delivering business value through people.
Experience working with Unions/ in a Unionised environment is advantageous
Strategic partnering and stakeholder management
Communication and coaching skills
Analytical thinking and HR reporting
Initiative, adaptability, and business acumen
