Located within an IB Global Centre, this role serves as a People Partner for designated offices and employee populations, providing a broad range of People support across the employee lifecycle. The role partners with leaders and employees on people-related matters, including compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, onboarding and offboarding, performance management, workforce data, and policy guidance.

The role also acts as a key liaison between employees, managers, Finance, payroll providers, benefits vendors, and global People teams to ensure the accurate and compliant delivery of People processes. Through a combination of operational expertise, relationship management, and data-driven insights, the role helps foster a positive employee experience while supporting organizational goals and local office needs.

This will have a strong focus in Benefits and Payroll. 

Responsibilities

People Processes, Policies & Employee Lifecycle

  • Ensure that all People processes (joiners, leavers, employee changes, recruitment administration, data maintenance, and budget tracking) are implemented consistently and in line with policies.
  • Deliver People practices and employee lifecycle processes for assigned offices in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Advise managers and employees on People policies, procedures, and local employment regulations.
  • Share process improvement ideas and best practices with global People colleagues.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and employee documentation activities.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with Finance and other stakeholders to ensure the accurate processing of People-related costs and activities.

Benefits Management

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for employee benefits, including statutory and IB-provided benefit programs.
  • Manage benefit administration activities, including enrollments, life events, employee changes, and vendor coordination.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries and escalations.
  • Maintain close partnerships with benefits providers, payroll teams, and Finance to ensure accurate administration and issue resolution.
  • Support benefits education initiatives and help employees understand available programs and resources.
  • Review benefit trends and support recommendations for program enhancements and improvements.

Compensation & Payroll Support

  • Support compensation programs including salary reviews, job evaluation activities, pay changes, and compensation administration processes.
  • Partner with managers, Compensation & Benefits colleagues, and Finance to support compensation-related decisions and processes.
  • Work closely with payroll providers and Finance to ensure accurate payroll data and timely resolution of employee inquiries.
  • Support reporting and analysis related to compensation, headcount, and workforce costs.

People Partnering & Employee Relations

  • Act as the primary People contact for assigned offices and employee populations.
  • Build strong relationships with managers and employees, providing practical guidance on People-related matters.
  • Support the Head of HR on employee relations matters and help foster an inclusive, positive, and engaged workplace culture.
  • Support managers with performance management, employee development, and employee wellbeing initiatives.
  • Assist with organizational changes and workforce planning activities as required.

Recruitment

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle for permanent and fixed-term positions.
  • Support offer preparation, onboarding coordination, and recruitment administration activities.
  • Maintain knowledge of recruitment systems and processes to ensure a positive candidate experience.

Data Management & Analytics

  • Maintain ownership and accountability for accurate and up-to-date People data.
  • Ensure data integrity within HCM and compliance with data privacy requirements.
  • Produce People reports, dashboards, and workforce analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Research and analyze data to identify trends, diagnose People-related issues, and recommend solutions.
  • Support audits and data validation activities as required.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Support local, regional, and global People projects and initiatives.
  • Partner with HRIS and IT teams on People systems, process improvements, and issue resolution.
  • Represent the People team on local employee engagement and workplace initiatives.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of People processes, systems, and employee experience.
Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, People Operations, Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting managers and employees across multiple areas of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and performance management.
  • Experience administering employee benefit programs and partnering with payroll providers, benefits vendors, and Finance teams.
  • Experience producing HR reports, workforce analytics, and people data insights to support decision making.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and maintaining high standards of data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Recognized HR qualification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, PHR, or equivalent) preferred.

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of compensation, benefits administration, and payroll-related processes.
  • Working knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and employee data management.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret workforce data, trends, and reports.
  • Understanding of employee lifecycle processes and HR operational best practices.
