The People Partner, International, is a hands-on HR enabler supporting employees, managers, and leaders at Squarespace.

Based in Dublin, this role partners across multiple non-U.S. locations and works closely with Global People Partners, People Operations, and HR COE teams to drive a scalable HR service delivery model. You will bring our people strategy to life by executing HR solutions that are simple, intuitive, and impactful; learning fast, acting fast, and using past data points to guide future progress. Leveraging deep knowledge of local markets and HR practices, the People Partner strengthens organizational health and drives a high-performance culture across diverse teams.

As a trusted advisor and operational partner, you will optimize talent, strengthens connections, reinforces accountability, and serves as a collaborative, transparent communicator.

You will report to the Director, People Partner R&D. This is a hybrid role working from our Dublin office 3 days per week.

You'll Get To…
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on performance, development, team effectiveness, and change leadership.
  • Provide expert in-country HR guidance and ensure compliance with employment laws across multiple international locations.
  • Lead and support cross-country HR initiatives in partnership with People Partners and People team.
  • Drive efforts in partnership with local and distributed leadership that strengthen engagement, team dynamics, and productivity.
  • Manage complex, multi-jurisdiction employee relations matters with sound judgment, discretion, and excellent project management, partnering with internal and external legal counsel as needed to mitigate risk throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Serve as local eyes and ears to anticipate and raise awareness of people and organizational challenges and recommend context-aware approaches to resolve them.
  • Support performance cycles, talent planning, compensation processes, and workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on hiring, internal mobility, and organizational alignment.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, clarity, and consistency.
  • Surface market and workforce trends to inform and influence global people strategy.
  • Reinforce inclusion, engagement, and well-being across the region.
Who We're Looking For
  • 6+ years of progressive HR experience, with direct responsibility for directly partnering with local leadership.
  • In-depth expertise in employment laws and compliance across multiple countries including Ireland with Portugal as a plus.
  • Extensive experience managing complex employee relations across jurisdictions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data trends and translate insights into strategy.
  • Proven ability to influence leaders, drive change, and partner effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent judgment, empathy, discretion, and ability to simplify complex issues.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and customer-service orientation.
  • A proactive, accountable, and adaptable mindset aligned to high-quality execution and operational excellence.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
