Squarespace is a design-centric product company that empowers anyone who wants to stand out and sell online. We're looking for a strategic Senior Content Designer to join our Client Engagement team in Dublin, Ireland. This role is crucial to scaling Squarespace's Commerce offering, specifically focusing on the tools entrepreneurs need to manage and grow their customer-base.
You'll be embedded in Squarespace's CRM, Marketing Automations, and Campaign Management product teams. These tools help sellers on Squarespace focus on a core element of their business: communicating with customers, clients, and leads. You'll work closely with product, engineering, and other designers to make this suite of tools easy to understand and use.
This is a hybrid role based out of our Dublin, Ireland office.
You'll Get To...- Partner with product designers, content designers, product managers, researchers, and engineers at every stage of the product delivery cycle.
- Find elegant content solutions and craft experiences that resonate with our existing and growing audience.
- Design, write, and test clear, compelling in-product language to help users and teams meet their goals. This includes product flows, interface language, product names, terminology, and product taxonomies.
- Shape and evolve content systems and reusable frameworks to scale consistent experiences across the platform.
- 5+ years of experience in Content Design, UX Writing, or UX Content Strategy at consumer-facing product companies.
- You have a strong content design portfolio showcasing end-to-end projects at digital product companies.
- You have experience or a strong understanding of complex product areas like CRM, marketing, automation and productivity tools, fintech, and e-commerce.
- You have a strong understanding of how content integrates with user interface design, guides user experience, and enables product strategy.
- You have the ability to integrate content directly into designs using tools like Figma, and to translate complex technical concepts into simple, human-centered language.
- You have research fluency and are comfortable leveraging insights/data and collaborating with researchers to inform strategy.
- You're comfortable with design and prototyping tools like Figma, and are able to troubleshoot interaction/content issues and work directly in prototypes.
- You have exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a track record of clearly articulating strategic content decisions to non-design audiences.
- You can identify risks, prioritize content work, and managing multiple high-leverage projects simultaneously.
