About the RoleWe are looking for a People Ops Specialist to take full ownership of our employee lifecycle operations and internal support in Spain. In this role, you won't just follow administrative workflows; you will be the main point of contact for our team members, ensuring a seamless, compliant, and top-tier employee experience from day one.
Sitting within the Finance department as part of the People Experience Services area, this position requires a proactive professional with solid expertise in Spanish labor relations, high autonomy, and a problem-solving mindset to manage everything from daily ticketing to complex onboarding and offboarding structures.
Key Responsibilities🇪🇸 Labor & Compliance OwnershipLocal Compliance: Take charge of all specific labor-related administrative tasks and legal requirements for Spain ( for example, Work council, SMAC attendance and negotiations)
Data Integrity: Maintain internal databases, employee profiles, and HR tools (HiBob, Officevibe, etc.) to guarantee data consistency and audit readiness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global and local stakeholders on data audits, and continuous improvement of administrative operations.
Primary Point of Contact: Act as the go-to reference for all employee inquiries regarding payroll, corporate benefits, internal policies, and workplace procedures.
Ticketing Ownership: Own and manage the internal ticketing system, ensuring timely, accurate, and empathetic resolution of all workplace queries to maintain high internal satisfaction.
Senior Stakeholder management: Partner with senior leaders and managers on sensitive employee relations matters, influencing decision-making and ensuring legally sound, consistent and business-aligned outcomes.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Collaborate with the Global team to optimize the onboarding and offboarding processes through our HRIS (HiBob), coordinating cross-functional workflows, preparing documentation, and ensuring a welcoming, structured experience.
Employee Administration: Oversee contracts, renewals, terminations, payroll incidents, and employee benefits, ensuring 100% accuracy and strict compliance with Spanish labor laws.
Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in HR Administration, People Operations, or Labor Relations, specifically within the Spanish market.
Education: University degree in Labor Relations, Law, Business Administration, or a related field. Nice to have: Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention qualifying for Higher-Level PRL functions in Spain, with at least one specialization: Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics or Applied Psychosociology.
Languages: Fluency in both English and Spanish is a must (written and spoken), as you will interact with international teams and local employees daily.
Core Competencies: High level of autonomy, exceptional communication skills (including C-level management), a problem-solving attitude, and the utmost discretion when handling confidential data.

Skills Required
- 5+ years experience in HR Administration, People Operations, or Labor Relations within the Spanish market
- University degree in Labor Relations, Law, Business Administration, or related field
- Fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken
