People Operations Specialist at Realtor.com®

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Are you a People Operations Specialist? Are you ready to join a high-energy team transforming HR service delivery for the organization? This individual will report to the Manager of HR Operations and will work directly with all employees across the organization in both the U.S. and Canada. You will be responsible for supporting the overall employee experience and managing various human resources functions within the organization.  This role involves partnering with employees, managers, and broader HR team to ensure positive employee experiences.  This position requires a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and plays a critical role in the continuous improvement of the end-to end employee life cycle HR processes. What you’ll do:

  • Partner with onboarding specialist to support administrative aspects of employee onboarding including new hire paperwork completion, answering general questions, I-9 verification to ensure all new hires experience a smooth transition
  • Manage employment inquiries in AskHR to include employee response, ticket assignment and monitoring and reporting
  • Support with HRIS data entry submissions following HR Shared Services standards for employee lifecycle administration, including terminations, status changes, job/salary changes and other employee record updates
  • Provide navigation support and assistance with employee, manager and HRBP self-service tools
  • Organize and maintain employee files
  • Process employment verification both active and alumni employees
  • I-9 verifications
  • Maintain informational resources (New Hire Website, The Block)
  • Assist in creating knowledge base articles, videos‚ and training solutions to common trends
  • Maintain good communication and a positive relationship within Realtor.comto drive engagement and foster an open and trusting work environment
  • Ensure adherence to all HR related compliance requirements and participate in daily, monthly and quarterly audits following strict guidelines
  • Provide recommendations or suggest methods to update, simplify, and enhance processes, procedures, and technologies
  • Perform special projects and initiatives as assigned

What you’ll bring:

  • BS/BA in related field or PHR preferred, minimum of 2-3 years in Human Resources in a corporate environment, preferably in a Shared Services environment
  • Confident and assertive with experience positioning HR as a strategic resource
  • Preferred working knowledge of HR systems such as Greenhouse, UltiPro/UKG and Jira 
  • Tech savvy - good with Google Slides, Powerpoint, creating instruction videos 
  • Proficient in Smartsheet, GSuite and MS Suite, Jira
  • Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law
  • Must be detail oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize 
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, problem solving abilities, and the ability to work independently with the understanding of when to escalate to senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on a timely and accurate response
  • Customer focused with success and managing customer expectations in a positive and empathetic manner
  • High level of positivity and team collaboration 
  • Able to work in a high performance culture which includes fast pace, results oriented and accountable for their job responsibilities while maintaining poise under pressure
