About the Role

We are looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our growing People team! As our People Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the Charlie Health team as we scale. This is an opportunity to learn and grow within the People Operations function in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Charlie Health employees by responding to incoming emails/calls/requests and answering questions, providing solutions, and/or escalating requests to more senior team members when necessary. 
  • Maintenance of up-to-date, compliant employee records in HRIS systems.
  • Process new hire paperwork including I-9s and entering new hires into Charlie Health’s payroll system.
  • Lead new hire orientation and onboarding days. 
  • Assist with employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Support new hire onboarding experience, ongoing performance review programs, and employee experience initiatives.
  • Create and maintain internal process documentation for People Operations team.
  • Other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Able to work a hybrid schedule of 4 days/week in our NYC office and located within 75 minutes' commuting distance of the office.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least 1+ year of experience in a similar role in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Interest in growing a career in the People Operations/Human Resources field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Additional Information

The expected base pay for this role will be between $60,000 and $70,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience. Further, base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits. #LI-HYBRID
