The People Operations Specialist is the go-to-person of our Tbilisi office - the person who makes people feel welcomed, celebrated, and supported, while keeping HR, benefits, and office life running smoothly behind the scenes. It's a role for someone energized by people, details, and a good celebration.
Together with the People Operations Lead, you'll be a friendly face and go-to partner for our Tbilisi team, bringing energy to everyday HR operations and helping our culture thrive.
Employee Engagement & Event Planning
- Plan and run employee engagement activities and culture-building initiatives across the office.
- Lead internal events, from milestone celebrations to team-building and office-wide gatherings.
- Create social content and short-form video capturing culture, events, and company updates for global employee-experience projects.
HR Operations
- Support recruiting efforts, including interview scheduling and candidate communication, as the first step of the employee lifecycle.
- Own end-to-end HR transactions: new hires, transfers, terminations with accurate, timely data entry.
- Coordinate onboarding logistics and documentation for a smooth new-hire experience.
- Maintain personnel records and filing systems; support audits, cleanups, and reporting.
- Serve as the go-to contact for HR tools and systems, troubleshooting and guiding users as needed.
Employee Benefits & Compliance
- Support benefits administration, timekeeping, and local compliance with Finance and Payroll.
- Help adapt global HR policies and initiatives for local implementation.
- Field general HR and benefits questions, escalating complex issues as needed.
Office & Facilities Management
- Manage daily office operations: scheduling, procurement, vendor coordination, and facilities upkeep.
- Handle expense tracking and travel/local bookings for visiting team members.
- BA degree required
- Experience in event planning is a strong plus, along with a background in HR administration, office management, or facilities coordination.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with working knowledge of HR systems.
- Confident, personable communicator who can lead groups and build rapport quickly.
- Comfortable with everyday organizational and HR tools (e.g., Canva, Google Workspace, Slack, Excel), with interest in social media, video, or recruiting projects; familiarity with video-editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere) is a plus.
