ABOUT THE ROLEYou will join the People & Culture team at FD India (Hyderabad) and will be responsible for managing day-to-day P&C operations and the employee lifecycle, while partnering on employee engagement and supporting key people initiatives across performance, rewards, learning and compliance. The role will help ensure a smooth, consistent and positive employee experience throughout the employee journey.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
People Operations
- Manage day-to-day employee lifecycle processes and HR administration.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRMS data.
- Manage leave, attendance and employee queries.
- Prepare HR reports and people data.
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Manage operational onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Coordinate with IT, Finance, Admin and other stakeholders.
- Ensure employee documentation, systems and formalities are completed accurately and on time.
Employee Engagement & Experience
- Co-own the annual employee engagement calendar and initiatives.
- Coordinate event logistics, vendors, budgets and administration.
- Support engagement surveys and employee experience initiatives.
Performance, Rewards & L&D
- Coordinate performance management processes and timelines.
- Manage Rewards & Recognition initiatives monthly and annually.
- Coordinate training logistics, attendance and feedback.
Compliance
- Maintain HR compliance documentation and support statutory requirements and audits.
- Support implementation and communication of P&C policies and processes.
Payroll & Benefits
- Coordinate payroll inputs and related employee changes with the Finance team
- Manage employee benefits and insurance administration.
- Support employee queries and coordination with external providers.
P&C Projects & Communications
- Support internal communications and employee newsletters.
- Support P&C projects and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate P&C reports and dashboards.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, BBA, BCom, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Generalist, People Operations or a related role.
- Good understanding of employee lifecycle processes, HR administration and HR systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and stakeholders across teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through, particularly when handling employee data and documentation.
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.
- Comfortable working with MS Office, HRMS/HRIS platforms and other HR tools, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
- Proactive and solution-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently.
